Is this the add-on you're referring to :

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/yahoomailhideadpanel/?src=recommended  ?

If so (apart from the fact that the add-on hasn't been updated in years and the reviews are bad) : What makes you think that Firefox removes the add-on at least once a
week  ?

Or are you talking about this add-on :

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/webmail-ad-blocker/

In which case : same question as above ......
