FF 58 clears history, sometimes after 4 days, sometimes after 7 days, sometimes on reboot but not always
I have gone through the settings, removed anti-virus programs, removed malwarebytes, checked all of the helps regarding clearing history, etc. Sometimes it clears it after 3-4 days, last week it went all week, and thought it was going to show January, but this morning it was cleared. Did reboot, and it kept today's history, so having trouble finding what the pattern is as to when it clears the history. O/s is windows 7 .

Do you have some kinda program like CCleaner running in the background that does system maintenance clearing out when default clear date it set?
No and no software changes since this started in January after the last FF updates.
today it cleared Monday's History but kept tuesday, computer not shut off, but FF was closed
That sounds very odd so what A/V program are you using?
No anti virus.
Do you have Firefox set up to clear history after a certain time?
no its set to remember history, also its not consistent as in sometimes on pc shutdown/restart, sometimes just opening FF, and anywhere from 2 to 4 days. I can't see a pattern to say it was a setting

It just cleared now 2 hours after the last post. I closed FF and when I opened it History was gone. Is it possible that it is the 350mb cached web content?. Going to set that to override.

clicking Verify Integrity clears the history. How can I repair corrupt database in FF58.0.02.?
thank you for the responses, I think it is the places.sqlite file, there are several that are in the hidden windows directory of app/users etc. I was looking for it in the about:config and couldn't find it, but it is in Windows. I renamed two of them to .old, and restarted FF. Today still has history from last week, will post again if it stays.
If all fails uninstall all FF and delete Mozilla folders and then do a clean install and see what happens. This is the last resort but make sure to backup your bookmarks or history if possible before doing this last step.
