How can I widen and darken the Firefox Scrollbar? It's so narrow and I can't even see it to find it against white web page backgrounds.

How can I widen and darken the Ubuntu 14.04 Linux Firefox v.48 Web Browser Scrollbar? It's so narrow (about 2 pixels), and so light in color, (that I can't even see it to either find it or correctly use it) against white web page backgrounds which it matches in color. Especially on web pages such as Facebook.com
