I just transferred over to Thunderbird from Windows Live Mail. I tend to get a lot of emails from single senders and Live Mail organized these emails into a single grouping in my inbox (I posted an example below). I would like to get the same organization with Thunderbird but I dont know how. Could you help me?

View/Sort by/From or Correspondents and Descending or Ascending, then View/Sort by/Grouped By Sort.

That's not quite what I was looking for, I want it grouped by sender but also sorted by date

With View/Sort by/From, Ascending (or Descending) and Grouped By Sort, the Threads Pane is grouped into senders, in ascending or descending alphabetical order, but the messages for each sender are always sorted in ascending order of date. It's not possible to choose more than one parameter on which to sort.
