Uninstall an older version of Firefox running on the same PC as an updated version of Firefox without uninstalling the updated FF, or del bookmarks, addons etc
I have both v30.0 and 37.0.1 of FF currently installed and my Bitdefender suggests I update FF 30 but everytime I try it states I already have an updated Firefox. (also shows up in Windows Programs and Features)
I've tried uninstalling 30 but it seems that if I attempt to do so it requires me to uninstall 37 (with all my themes, addons, history, passwords etc) on it.
Is there, a way to uninstall just the older version of FF without risking any of my files. Or is there a way to take all my personal files with me, then do a clean install, then import my personal files?

Please see this article, I think you'll find your solution: Uninstall Firefox from your computer
You think wrong.
In the bottom of the page, there is a link which shows how to Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles. So backup your profile and uninstall both of your Firefox version. Then make a fresh install and restore your data. Is my think clear this time? :)
