When I start Firefox I always get Delta Homes search page. I set my home page to ABC.net.au/news/ and made sure that the Firefox starts with 'Show my home page'. However this makes no difference and I keep getting the Delta Homes page when the Firefox opens. How can I change that?

My new (11/2014) PC came with Internet Explorer pre-loaded. I set up Mozilla as my preferred homevbase and then tried to install Adobe Flashplayer. After failing I found that it is already installed as part of the Exporer pre-load. However, I cannot use Flashplayer via Mozilla: it seems it is only available via Explorer. But, clearly, I don't want to use Explorer (I don't trust it).

How can I get Flashplayer to work on Mozilla as well as, or instead of Explorer, please?

Following upgrade to 34.05, can no longer access web pages of the SAN management interface, the airco system, the vSphere Web Client, etc. All still work in Chrome.

The airco system gives an error:

   Firefox cannot guarantee the safety of your data on 10.32.16.50 because it uses SSLv3, a broken security protocol.
   Advanced info: ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap

The SAN management interface and vSphere Web Clients display an empty page. Not sure whether these also have problems due to SSLv3.

I understand you wanting to be cautious, but I seriously doubt I need to face an attack from our SAN. Please, at least give us an option to connect regardless.

Firefox opens at my home page as desired, but it is on a window in the upper right corner, about 4"wide and 3" tall. It readily drags out into a full-sized display, but I want it to open that way, as it did before I updated to yesterday's version of Firefox. i find no options immediately obvious to set this opening size as a default. How do I do this? Also, I now have a problem with Flash crashing that I did not have before the update. How do I fix that?

I cannot open mozilla cos it's showing an error message "Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible". I've saw the older threads and when I create a new profile it's working. Then when I close it an reopen it I have the same error although when I created the new profile I made it default.

What else can I do?

Almost immediately after using Chromecast for the first time, I noticed that Firefox had lost some of its most important functions.
For instance, it no longer displays PDFs. When I click on a PDF, nothing happens for about two minutes. Then, a box appears, labeled “ENU” at the top. Inside the box it says “Adobe PDF Document” with a place to click “OK.” When I click on the OK, nothing happens.
With Flash, the Flash plug-in crashes anytime I try to use it in Firefox, for example, when I try to watch a PBS video online.
Also, there is a black bar at the upper right of the Firefox window where the Microsoft controls (minimize, resize, close) should be. Even rebooting the computer does not make them come back. When trying to minimize Firefox, I could be closing it instead.
I can't believe this is an accident. It's too much of a coincidence that Firefox's display and streaming capabilities stop working when a rival browser company's software is installed.
Is there a fix for this yet, or do I have to uninstall Chromecast?

Successfully installed Firefox on my new laptop, transferred folders etc. I cannot find a British English dictionary to download to version 31.1., running on Windows 8. help, plese.

The WPA-PSK network key on my Netgear router was extremely complex, and typing it into my Kindle when I wanted to buy a book was a nightmare! So I changed the key to something I could manage, typed it in my Kindle, and now Kindle works fine - no problem with it. Snag is the computer won't connect now! I have to plug that yellow cable into the router and the computer to get on the internet. (You can tell how computer savvy I am !!!) Can somebody help me please?

I can't login to my school website anymore since I have updated my firefox to 34.0.5. I have deleted the cert8.db, and still having the same issue. Please Help! I have searched for this topic and seen it a couple times, but no clear way to resolve it. I have 2 mac computers doing this. Whenever I bookmark a page, if I immediately look at the bookmark, the information is correct. But if I click on my bookmark, it will take me to the profile page of one of my facebook friends and then that will be the information found in the bookmark. I have seen something about "resetting" firefox to fix it, but I'm not exactly sure what they mean by resetting firefox.

Looking at the home page for the newspaper "Aftenposten" there is no pictures, text only. Other newspapers or any web site works fine. I have experienced this with a number of upgrades, but in a day or two the problem is fixed without any measures! But not this time!

By the way: I have form time to time needs for assistance to solve minor issues, but you are defenitely among the 5 worst companies in the world to communicate with. So far I have never received an answer og a reply, so I expect no reaction this time either...

My bookmarks have been fine for years. And I have many. They're now ALL gone!!!

After I upgraded to latest Firefox 34.0.5 , the bookmarks bar is empty and so is the list of dates Firefox upgrades were applied. Where have they gone, why is Firefox no longer showing them and how do I recover them?

With the tremendous problems FIrefox continually has to provide updates that do actually work, it seems that Firefox badly need a "back out upgrade" option so you can always revert to the previous version... Please implement ASAP.

I'm using Firefox on My Snow Leopard 10.6.8 Mac. I have had Firefox for years and recently had to install and use your special option to keep Firefox looking the way it always has looked and I'm perfectly happy with. I'm now using latest Classic Theme Restorer 1.2.7 which installed itself as I restarted.

I get a AVG Secure Search page instead of the thumbnail page now when I load a new tab. How do I get the thumbnails back? I don't have an gear icon on the page to switch it back. This happen after I did a reset of Firefox so that MapQuest would work again which it now does.

What is interesting is that I get thumbnails if I open a second Firefox window and then click on a new tap page.

I've install the searchreset addon with no luck. I've run Microsoft Safety Scanner and no problems have been identified.

This evening I downloaded Ad-Aware and it completely changed the Firefox browser. I've done a system restore but now I have no menu icon. How can I restore this? All I have left on the browser is the new tab facility, bookmarks, download progress, home page and theme font size changer.

Some web sites will not work, if you hit a button nothing happens. When I copy the url and put it into IE11, everything works. I have tried several add-ons, but the ones that worked on FF28. None work on later versions. I am on FF34.05 now. With win7 64bit, 6gigs memory. I hate IE please help me.

I just (accidentally) upgraded to Firefox 34.0.5 for desktop, and now all my saved passwords are gone. I did not delete them. How? Why? What can I do to get them back? I am really annoyed at Mozilla for always being in my face to upgrade, now this. Any help? Thank you.

The awesome bar is only activated with a mouse-over maneuver. If there was an option to eliminate this unnecessary action and leave the awesome bar fully engaged at all times. With dual 20" monitors on my desktop, wasted space is not an issue, wasted ,repetitive motions are.
