I usually get an update message every day that pops on my laptop. When I click update now, it tries to connect to the update server and stays there for hours and hours. I usually give up at the fourth hour. I have been trying to update for the past 2 months now.

I would really like it of Firefox would use the system default printer set in the control panel, similar to the way office programs do. Is there no setting in about:config to do this? Or an add-on perhaps?

I have Kaspersky pure 2.0 and because Firefox hasn't supported the auto fill function since about firefox 5, I can't upgrade to a newer firefox.. Auto fill is very important to me. I know the new version of Firefox does auto fill, but I need to use Kaspersky. Too much information to reenter to migrate.

With the latest version of Firefox, and the previous beta version (3.6, I think), my MacBook is "reading" everything out loud - for example, when I go to my bookmarks, if I go to "shopping," I hear "shopping, submenu." If I then highlight Amazon, I hear "Amazon," and so on. And it is always saying "Firefox has new window" whenever I go to a different tab. Since this never happened before the most recent Firefox beta, and continues with Firefox 4, and since I haven't been able to make it stop via System Preferences, I'm assuming it has something to do with the Firefox browser. Help!

I have been using Mozilla Firefox for a couple of years. All of a sudden I can't have a Zynga toolbar or a Gamers Unite Snag bar.. I want to be able to use them again.Why can't I???

When I 'Print Page' of a Firefox site - The text on the HP Printer comes DISTORTED ( the fonts are too small with large spaces between them.....)

But - When I'll try the SAME Page with Chrome - It prints just fine.....

I've been trying to print shipping labels from UPS.com; the print out was only widely spaced characters, not the document format I needed. My bank statement (https://cibng.ibanking-services.com/) will not print properly either. Switching to Internet Explorer (current version) makes all the printing issues go away.

Other than that, FF4 is running with no problems.

Just loaded the new SUSE 11.4 and it came with the Firefox 4 beta. Some things have changed from version 3 that are not goodness from my point of view.

The "lock" indicator for secure sites appears to be gone. This used to show up in the lower right hand corner when I connected using https. I've come to rely on this flag when entering sensitive info. Is it someplace else? If not, is there some way I can turn it on again?

The other change that is driving me batty is the FILE menu. The location of the OPEN in New Window & OPEN in New TAB has been reversed from version 3. From a good number of years of web surfing, I have gotten into the habit of opening a new window using the first item on the menu. Now it has changed. Please tell me there is some way to customize this to return to the "normal" menu organization.

I'd like to download and compile the latest source for the stable version as I'm currently using 4.0 beta 12 supplied with the latest Suse DVD image. Your website only seems to offer a binary image for 32-bit linux in general.

Latest Firefox does not send page perfect copy for printing so rail tickets and airline tickets do not print out in a ussable way so I have to go back to Internet explorer or earlier Firefox.

Hello, I have been using Firefox off and on for the last year or so, and there's one thing that always gets me to stop using it, whenever I download a file I cant see the file size of it in the "Save As" dialog, Internet Explorer and Opera has this feature and it's one of the things that I really need, I have tried that extension that does this (I forget the name of it), but unfortunately it is not for Firefox 4 :(

I just downloaded Firefox 5 and it said that my Yahoo toolbar will not work with it. Is this true? If so I will not use this new version and will switch to another browser if Firefox stops supporting the Yahoo toolbar. Thank you.

One day, it just changed so that whatever I search for searches using the Spanish Google web-page. When I go into Advanced setting to change it to English it can't change.
