I've read the articles and followed the promps.

1. Telemetry is enabled. 2. I'm using the latest FF version. 3. I don't use themes. I tried starting FF in safemode. No signficant improvement. 4. I already use ABP and NS to hide intrusive content. 5. My plugins are updated. Apart from Adobe flash every other plugin is disabled. 6. All Hardware drivers are up to date. The icons don't fit in the window anymore. Web pages are very slow to load. Cannot connect into search window. Can't enter web addresses in the address bar. 51.0 was the beginning of the problems. I asked for an upgrade, but 51.0.1 is no solution.

Was running Firefox 50.something, and was offered 51.0.1 via Help / About. Pressed the button in that dialog to upgrade.

Now Firefox won't start -- it brings up the Mozilla Crash Reporter dialog. Pressing "Restart Firefox" from that just brings it up again.

Starting with profile manager ("firefox.exe -P") and creating a fresh profile doesn't help (the "Firefox - Choose User Profile" dialog works, but "Start Firefox" just crashes).

Starting in safe mode (as it occasionally offers me, or with "firefox.exe -safe-mode"

(Thus, I haven't tried the irreversible-sounding "Refresh Firefox" option, as I think the above steps imply that it is unlikely to help.)

Crash IDs (all submitted today by me, in chronological order): bp-e1156367-12d1-42af-b90e-b0fe22170127 bp-d90c6dcd-f9ed-4c6d-a6e9-5f5302170127 bp-5eae3f6e-e3f5-490b-afc7-edc312170127

At least one colleague at the same site is suffering a similar problem. This is a corporate site; it's possible https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/websense-startup-crashes-firefox applies; I'm not sure how to tell whether that version of Websense is installed.

Started early Thursday Morning-would go to the above websites (hardly controversial) and in most cases would them show a separate page stating"Symantec has blocked this as a fraudulent site and would be potentially harmful to click through to the article. It started with dailycaller.com, then progressed to hotair.com and then foxnews.com this morning. I contacted Symantec/Norton 360 and they provided me with nothing tangible. I have been using them for seven/eight years and never run into this. Any thoughts? I would prefer to continue to use Mozilla/Firfox as my primary browser. Sincerely, J.C.

HELP! I have Windows 7 - 64bit PC and I have a subscription with Videoblocks.com and Mozilla Fire Fox is my default browser I have used for years. When I go to the Videoblocks website, Mozilla Firefox will NOT allow me to SEARCH for videos I wish to download. As soon as I type in the Search box there and hit enter, my computer freezes up and in the lower right hand corner of the screen it always says, "Readd2zah9y47r7bi2.clearfront.net" "Readd2zah9y47r7bi2.cloudfront.net". After that, if I touch anywhere on the screen, the screen turns to white and then my mouse starts twirling. You have to exit out and then you get error messages and you have to exit out of that until you're completely out of it. I have the newest update of Firefox. I have WebrootSecureAnywhere and it did not detect that anything is wrong. For trouble shooting (1) I have cleared out all of my history, (2) I did a Firefox refresh (3) I've uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox numerous times, (4) I've done a system restore several times all to no avail. I tried this on my husband's computer and it does the same exact thing so it's not just my computer. I have no viruses on my computer nor does he. I use Firefox all the time for this endeavor as I am a video producer and then all of a sudden it started doing this; it's like this simple feature is now broken! I even called Videoblocks and Webroot and they had no answers for me. PLEASE HELP!! This is very disconcerting! How do I fix this please?

Last time I did a clean wipe, and followed all the export/import stuff and the ensuing json/html file debacle, I lost hundreds of my firefox bookmarks. I do not want any history, passwords, or anything else, just the bookmarks. How can I save them and have them ready for when I re-install Windows 10. Naturally Windows forces the user to go through their setup crap and it may be awhile before I've dumped most of their programs and re-establish firefox as my default browser. Thank You for any help.
