Hello! New Firefox user here, since I got too annoyed with IE crashing. So, I often download PDF documents from the Web. With IE, you get a pop-up that asks you to pick a location in which to save the download. I like that. But with Firefox, all I can do is download it to some "library" that I can't find on my computer or retrieve the articles from. My two questions:

1. Where is that library? On my computer - where???

2. I want the articles on a flash drive, not in some library. How can I specify to Firefox to save the article on my flash drive or desktop, instead of that library?

The old Firefox was easy to manuever through and accomplish actions desired without having to hit drop-down menus and had all actions listed on screen. With the new Firefox that is not so. Can't find any place for 'reply' action. Is that no longer an option and if so, why not? Why do software experts think they are improving things when simple is best for the common folk? They just make things more complicated and frustrating.

I got an email saying i should update my browser. i thought i'd get instructions. but it brought me to all this firefox and mozilla stuff. as far as i know i don't have either. should i ignore the email?

I cannot find my question from last night. I saw the instruction from jscher2000 but I find nothing like what he decribes. My question was "Firefox 22 worked on Windows 7 but 23 does not"

I am filling out a med school application on an HP laptop with Windows. When I accessed the application it said I could not do it with Windows --- that I had to download firefox which I thinkI did . Still can't fill out the application on my HP. Got my wife's Apple and it works fine. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Decided to try FireFox again. Installed the LastPass add in, but can't figure out how to access it. Chrome puts an icon on the side, but not FF. Thanks, -Lawrence Lloyd

OK, I'm using OPERA browser because Firefox will not get past the password on this site! Tried it twice and still no soap, it seems to accept the password change and even asks if I want to remember it, but will not let me log in!

What's the problem? Firefox 24.0 Windows 7, 64 bit version, all up to date.

For some reason I have lost the space where I would in the put the "subject" of my e-mail. When I click send I am informed that there is no subject, do I still wish to send. I would like to know how I .can get this important space back.

When I use googleig Mozilla claims the webpage is redirecting in circles. I had to reinstall Mozilla from scratch due to add-ons constantly causing problems. Since then Mozilla has not worked. This redirecting problem is rampant throughout each session on many webpages.

I am unable to find instructions on how to add a bookmark. I don't want it on the toolbar but just in the list of bookmarks. I've tried every which way to search for this information but without success.

I removed the email address. It is not needed on the forum to send you replies. The forum is public and indexed by search engines. You may reinstate the email address if you wish. I have had problems with being able to watch yahoo videos I have to go to internet explorer to watch; how do I fix this? Or do I have to delete all things related to your service and just switch to internet explorer?
