Firefox will only open right click "run as administrtor"
I have no idea what I did but Firefox now will not open from the desktop unless I run it as an administrator. If I just double click it I get a crash report.

Please post a crash ID. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mozillacrashreporter#w_viewing-crash-reports
When the crash reporter box opens and I put my e-mail etc, in then click on either "restart Firefox" or "quit Firefox" I get another box saying "There was a problem reporting etc." I don't get a crash report.
Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
- Download the Firefox installer and save the file to the desktop
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
If possible uninstall your current Firefox version to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
- Do NOT remove "personal data" when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because this will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords including data in profiles created by other Firefox versions.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- (32 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
- (64 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"
- It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure NOT to remove personal data when you uninstall Firefox as that will remove all Firefox profile folders and you lose your personal data.
I saved my profile to a flash drive, uninstalled Firefox deleted all files of Firefox from the computer, re-installed Firefox. First it wouldn't run because it couldn't find my profile, so I restored profile from the recycle bin, but now it is back to doing the same thing will only open as administrator. I can't understand why it wouldn't create a new profile as everything else had been deleted.
Did you remove the profiles.ini file that registers all profiles or did you only remove the profile folder with the random name?

I removed everything that said Firefox, I don't know what an .ini file is
Try to remove or rename the Mozilla folder or the Mozilla\Firefox folder if there are profile used by other Mozilla software in both locations (main & cache) used by profiles in case there is a problem with the permissions.
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
