Some of my bookmarks will randomly disappear. My newly saved bookmarks randomly disappear. I will save them and when I restart firefox they are gone but others are still there. I only have one profile and my folder is NOT marked as read only.
Just to clarify this dose not happen all the time. For instance a few days ago I saved a site and next time I opened Firefox it was still there but then yesterday I saved another site and when I opened Firefox this morning it was gone.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
