I have just downloaded the latest version of Firefox and now I can't open a web page when I click on a link- not even a web page from the same site, neither can I run a Google search using the toolbar.

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?

Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."
