Some , only some, sent emails not appearing in sent folder
A small proportion of my sent emails are not appearing in my sent folder I use a Gmail account via IMAP. I've checked my account settings, and the sent folder is checked correctly.

How is it 'checked correctly'? Since gmail automatically copies sent messages to Sent Mail, 'Place a copy in' in Account Settings/Copies & Folders should be unchecked, and Sent Mail should be subscribed.
Here's a copy of my current settings which I haven't changed Is this right?
Place a copy in: "Sent" Folder on: Other: Place replies in the folder of the message being replied to
Try it with the settings as in the attached picture, and see if all sent messages appear in Sent Mail.

Second picture: right-click account in Folder Pane, Subscribe...
