Hello, Using a MacBook M1, MacOS: Sequoia 15.2.

New Thunderbird version (Version 128.6.0esr 64 bit) automatically downloaded this sunday 12 th. In the write email screen I still can input "To" and "Subject", but I cannot write any text ! Send button now inactive About Thunderbird (after clicking "Thunderbird top left) now inactive "Settings" now inactive Contact list on left side is empty (as shown in capture 1)

AlsoThunderbird now opens up in this window (capture 2), whereas before it would open (correctly) with the "in messages" Thanks for your help ! Dikran

Hello, first diagnostic test, try to run TB in "troubleshoot mode": hold down the Alt (Option) key while starting TB from the Dock and observe whether the problem persists

One more question: in the Address Book tab left panel is "Mac OS-X Address Book" activated?

Thanks ! Didn't know about the troubleshoot mode. The settings of the Mac address book have not changed for a very long time. So I can't quite place a problem there. As it seems anyway that TB has been sort of dicy these last few months, and now with this update major problem, I have decided for now to use a different client, I may possibly re-check TB when it is more stable. Thanks again !
