This just started out of the blue.

Thunderbird on Lubuntu. Is failing to copy to the sent folder but message appears to go.

Size of email is just a few bytes.

IMAP settings as I want it consistent across all platforms.

Thunderbird on Win 7 appears to be ok. Logging into account using webmail works. Sending emails from Android also appears to work. It is very specifically this Thunderbird/Lubuntu combination. It also only appears to be my personal domain/email. A yahoo account and gmail account still appear to work.

Check 'Sent' settings in Account settings.

  • select : 'Other' and choose the server 'Sent' folder on that account.
  • click on OK
