Ever since updating to Firefox 56 I have noticed some odd behavior. I close it down normally (or so I think) but then when I restart it next time it says it was not closed down properly and asks about restoring the previous tabs. Other times it will not give that message but open those previous tabs up anyway.

Was there a change in this build that affects this?

Thanks

Hi AZBigDog, do you use CCleaner? If so:

Can you go into its settings and deselect the option to clear your Firefox session data? Firefox 56 changed the format and name of the session history files, and this seems to have created a temporary compatibility issue with the cleaning feature that somehow is causing this problem.
