Firefox 8.2 on ipad won't sync bookmarks from Windows firefox

Every since upgrading to firefox 8.2 on my ipad, my bookmarks don't sync from Firefox on my Windows PC. My ipad device no longer shows connected on my PC firefox sync devices. Also, on the ipad firefox settings, where it says "Sign on to Firefox", when I try to sign on, I get a "Cannot load page" error. Was using Firefox 55.0 on windows when this issue began, so downgraded to 54.0.1 but still having the problem.

I have this problem as well only I'm using Firefox on a Mac version 10.12.6. I can sync to my Iphone, so it has something to do with IPad.
