All mails in inbox are missing which were there until yesterday. how can i retrieve them?
All my locally downloaded email in my inbox folder were missing on opening. all new email got downloaded from the time i shut down yesterday until today, all old emails have disappeared. have they been archived automatically, if yes, how do i access those.

Do you use any other email programs, apps or devices to view your email? A smartphone or tablet, perhaps?
Nope. Used to use outlook but since i switched i dont view this email on any other device.
