While downloading files by FFox - if there no more HDD space - downloading is stoped. And even if you get new free HDD space by other program - restarting of downloading is not possible and stop-start of Ctrl-J cannot solve this problem. Only restart of FFox can permit re-Downloading files.

Is there no more room on your hard drive? Many say leave a good percent available, depending on its size.

By an external hard drive. Those files you do not access often, place on the external. You can also use the external as a backup.

(Clips, music, text files, old programs . . . . . .)

I do know how to get free space (about additional & external devices). But! I said about problem when there no free space on HDD while downloading several files - FFox have bug.
