Why is thunderbird not responding when I open email with pics. Just installed Windows 10 and had 8.1. It did work fine but now does not respond
Just installed Windows 10 and now having problems with Thunderbird not responding when I open an email with pics. I have closed the program, restarted but still have same problem. Once I open the email with pics the program stops responding and locks up.

What is your anti-virus software?
My software is Kaspersky.

Try to start *Windows* in safe mode with networking enabled.

Still in Windows safe mode, start Thunderbird in safe mode.

putting thunderbird in safe mode did not work. program is still freezing!
