Nothing works except small Google search box and icons to right of it.
Click Firefox icon. The page that comes up, the search page. Nothing works, execpt the small search box, that has Google in it, and the icons to the right of it. This is not the way Firefox works on my other computers. The larger search boxes (at top left and middle of page) do not work. Also the icons below middle search box do not work. This is a new install of Peppermint 5. This computer is dual boot with Xubuntu 12.04.

Sorry to take so long. I do not use Iceweasel. Have already reinstalled Firefox twice. Have gone to http://forum.peppermintos.com/ a couple times and could not find a place to ask question. ?????? I will go back when I have free time. Today (8/19/14) the top searchbar is working. Not changed anything. ????? Thank you for your time.

Are you using iceweasel? I would try a fresh install because this does not sound like it is working properly. Installing Firefox on Linux or you can try a Firefox Reset from the about:support page.
However there is one foru I would also recommend: http://forum.peppermintos.com/ if there continues to be issues.

Nice that it is working again, if it happens again please do post back and we can followup. I will mark your post as the solution, if anything changes please let us know.
