Why can't I cut cut, copy or paste when in Google Docs by right clicking?

When I copy from a web site and try to paste the copied info into a document I am writing in Google docs by right clicking and choosing "paste", there is no paste option just "link" and "comment". I do not have this problem with IE so I always have to open IE just to copy or paste something. How can I allow this action to work in Firefox?? Thanks
