I can't view the YouTube website
For the past three days I can't view the YouTube website; all I get are grey areas where buttons and videos are shown (http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2vto7cg&s=9 ). I have cleared the cache. I have uninstalled, restarted, installed a new Firefox app. I downloaded, installed and scanned my computer with Malwarebytes (clean scan). I tried accessing the site via Internet Explorer and it works perfectly. No other sites are affected. I recently had to do a system recovery in my Dell XPS 8930 with WIN 10 (the same happens on my Lenovo with WIN 10).
Help.

Some users are reporting that various page contents do not fill in if they are logged in to their Google account. As a quick test, assuming you don't usually visit YouTube in a private window, could you try it in a private window? Just right-click the link or bookmark and try Open Link in New Private Window.
Any difference?
I notice you have some add-ons related to videos. To confirm that this is not an add-on problem, can you still generate the problem in Firefox's Safe Mode? In its Safe Mode, Firefox temporarily deactivates extensions, hardware acceleration, and some other advanced features to help you assess whether these are causing the problem.
If Firefox is not running: Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox. (On Mac, hold down the option/alt key instead of the Shift key.)
If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:
- "3-bar" menu button > "?" Help button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
- (menu bar) Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
and OK the restart.
Both scenarios: A small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Refresh).

Thank you for your prompt response. The answer to both questions is: no.
Youtube went down for a while say about 6:15 pm Pacific time on Oct 16. Your image was one of the things the YouTube site was doing for me upon refresh tries until the site came back up for most.
Does it work on other computers, tablets, phones etc using the same ISP connection?
I was watching a live stream when YT went down but was still able to watch it as it was dual streamed on Twitch also.
Oddly enough, I didn't have problems when everyone else did. Only the next day and beyond. Late afternoons, it will work briefly, then go back to greyed out. No, it won't work on another WIN 10 computer. It does work in Internet Explorer.
Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies from websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).
"Remove the Cookies" from websites that cause problems:

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.
If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

I did clear the cache of everything and cleared the History of everything. No good. I am on YouTube classic now, but even that has issues (no notifications button) but most things work. Weird. Up until this week, I had no problems other than the occasional buffer overruns.
