running firefox 57.0.1. a website i frequented through "bookmark" access: https://www.aceelitecard.com/account/login before updating, is now missing part of it's interactive menu. (login info) the text windows will not allow "click on" access, or "tab button" access. i first thought it was the website's "deal". but i was able to access the site through safari as it used to with the previous "firefox version". any suggestions?

I don't have an account on the site, but I noticed when entering a fake login that the page wants me to enable the Flash plugin. (See attached screenshot.) I don't know why and I didn't try that, but could you check for that plugin notification icon to the left of the address bar to see whether it makes any difference for you?

no plugin notification or icon present. also, that's how the site presented itself BEFORE i updated. it now presents different graphics. i've included a photo of how it looks now. tried to add this to my ORIGINAL post, but it wouldn't load. i can't even CLICK ON the available window to ENTER my info.

I don't know why the login form looks different on yours. It is generated by a script and that may be checking cookies or affected by a password manager. Could you try "the usual":

If a site is generally known to work in Firefox, these are general suggestions to try when it stops working normally:

Cache and Cookies: When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.

(1) Clear Firefox's Cache

See: How to clear the Firefox cache

If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes. If you do not see the number going down on the page, you can reload it using Command+r to check progress.

(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:

  • right-click (on Mac Ctrl+click) a blank area of the page and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
  • (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
  • click the padlock or "i" icon in the address bar, then the ">" button, then More Information, and finally the "View Cookies" button

In the dialog that opens, the current site should be pre-filled in the search box at the top of the dialog so you can remove that site's cookies individually.

Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

Testing in Firefox's Safe Mode: In Safe Mode, Firefox temporarily deactivates extensions, hardware acceleration, and some other advanced features to help you assess whether these are causing the problem.

If Firefox is not running: Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox.

If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
  • Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

and OK the restart.

Both scenarios: A small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Refresh).

Any improvement?

how would any of the troubleshooting you suggested work for this problem. part of the websites graphics are missing. cookies and cache wouldn't cover that. this isn't about my info not working. this is a presentation problem that i'm not experiencing with any of my other bookmarks. sorry, but i think you're overthinking this. check the photo again. ace1:post update ace2:before updating

Do what has been asked of you please. And yes clearing cache and cookies does work. Do you make scripts or web pages ? The person that answered does.

How do you explain that Firefox 57.0.4 loads the page normally for me? I even tested in a fresh profile to rule out special settings or add-ons helping the situation (screenshot attached).

If you don't want to try the standard troubleshooting to understand what could be behind your login fields not loading, that's your call.
