what does EXC_BAD_ACCESS / KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS mean?
This came from my crash report. What does it mean?

Those are codes from MacOS X explaining why it killed Firefox. Not sure this means any more to me than it will to you:
EXC_BAD_ACCESS/KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS — This is caused by the thread accessing unmapped memory. It may be triggered by either a data access or an instruction fetch; the Thread State section describes how to tell the difference.

By the way, if you want to post some crash report IDs for reports you submitted to Mozilla, then we could take a look at them and see whether they point to the source of the problem.
Please check the last section of the support article "Firefox Crashes" for steps to get those crash IDs from the about:crashes page, and then post some of the recent ones here.
