  1. Do other users have their own sign-ins, or is the computer open to anyone all the time?
  2. What operating system do you use (Win8, MAC, Linux, etc)?
  3. Are you using IMAP or POP?

Go to Preferences -> Security -> Passwords -> Saved Passwords... On the Saved Passwords screen, remove the entries for your "Administatie" account. Close and restart Thunderbird. Every time you access that account, you will have to enter your password; don't tell it to remember it!

An alternate approach would be to turn on the Guest account in Win 7 and separate the email accounts there, but it's a lot more complicated to set up.

One more thought - you probably want to turn off getting new messages except when you are looking for them. Go to Account Settings -> Server Settings and uncheck "Check for new messages at startup" and also uncheck "Check for new messages every ...". That way TB won't be asking for a password until you click on the account.
