Whenever I open up a flash pop-out, like at Ustream or whatnot, it doesn't display the Navigation Bar/URL. I've tried a few things already to show it (seeing if alt will bring up the menu options, etc) and Googling it—there were several complaints about the lack of http://, as helpful as that is for me—to no avail.

I was wondering if there was a way to permanently enable the navigation bar for Flash windows, or better yet, a hotkey combination to toggle it.

You can try changing some hidden preferences using about:config

  1. Type about:config in the Location/URL bar and press the enter key
  2. If you see a warning, accept it (promise to be careful)
  3. Search = dom.disable_window_open_feature
  4. Double click items to toggle from true to false on those items that you want per the list in the second article above.
  5. When done, close the about:config tab and test.
