location services not available for googlemaps....archived advice not accurate
my google maps app always opens with a city 3500 miles away....went to help, it said to click in a 'i' in a circle next to a locksymbol, left of the address bar....this no longer exists, i guess....seems there should be simple solution, but I have gone through a lot and can't find one!

no VPN....
many sites do know my location....often i will go a site like home depot or many others, and i get a go/no query as to allowing them to know where i am....if i say yes, all works as normal
