Is Lockwise safe?

Firefox Monitor is a great service, but of course disturbing, as well. I trust Firefox for privacy and security, but given the extent of global, nefarious elements, there is little room for trust.

Is Firefox Lockwise safe? Or just another repository of highly sensitive information that will eventually end up listed in the "have i been pwned?" database?

Right here, I expect to find the most vital, frequent topic: Is it safe? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/products/firefox-lockwise

But I don't

Hi Dante, The Lockwise Support Forum is usually reserved for helping people tackle problems that they are having. There are other avenues where you might find a better answer. Like:

The Firefox Frontier https://blog.mozilla.org/firefox/

or

New password security features come to Firefox with Lockwise https://blog.mozilla.org/firefox/password-security-features/

For discussion purposes here - remember that safety is really in the hands of the user. According to Keeper Security, the number one password in use is - 123456. And some people don't use a Master Password at all. For all intents and purposes, Lockwise is as safe as the user is.
