Firefox hangs when switching tabs/loading websites
I've been struggling with firefox locking up for a while now, the issues started in firefox version 41 if I remember correctly I have tried: - Disable/Enable hardware acceleration - Updating graphics drivers - The Refresh Firefox feature - Safe mode - Deleting my firefox profile & reinstalling
My system has 16gb of ram, an i5 3570k (3.4ghz) cpu and an ssd as os/tmp dir storage so my pc should not be the issue Chrome works completely fine
It's most notable/reproducable when starting to watch youtube videos Sometimes when the video initially starts playing it locks up for a while, audio keeps playing and stops after a while Scrolling down to load the comment section also causes a freeze every time
Are there any more things I can try or things I can provide you guys with so you can look into it? I'd hate to have to switch to a different browser, but it's really starting to get onto my nerves, especially when trying to do work (web dev) it feels liks I'm sitting around waiting for firefox to unfreeze half of the time

I just had the idea to do some profiling with visual studio on firefox, sadly I couldn't get any valuable information out of it Here are two files with a bunch of freezes in them ("(1)" is probably the better one) http://share.dl.je/2016-02-05_16-36-50_3BfNppPsZT.zip
Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.
It did not hang in safe mode, I have closed my antivirus though and it still hangs
Any other things I could try?
