I have image and video problems which the FAQs do not help with

Problems 1: I have attempted to view certain videos or pictures and Firefox tells me I need to update Flash Player. I have done this and it tells me to update Flash Player again and has no effect on the browser. 2. Yahoo mail - it does not offer me the backgrounds and features I had when I used Chrome. None of the images for backgrounds work and this applies to certain Tumblr sites also. 3. Some sites - You Tube - work while others don't load. I can go into another browser and they load perfectly well.
