korean writing appeared between the star and saved webpage icons on the top of the screen which disappeared when I closed and reopened the program

I was on a secure webpage and it was just there, when I put the mouse pointer over it it just flashed and as I said I closed the program opened it back up again and it was gone. I have Mcafee installed and that hasn't picked anything up so I was wondering if anyone else had come across it and more importantly what is it exactly

Hello ricksden, the problem is mcafee site advisor extension, please try to disable or remove that extension and you are OK.

see : How to uninstall SiteAdvisor

before that check another option, if works for you, without to uninstall the mcafee site advisor extension :

disabled the add-on then close firefox and restart Firefox again. Then enable the add-on again, close firefox one more time and restart Firefox again. (works here :-))
