Firefox crashing on clean install
Firefox has been working for months with no problem. Then I used a VPN for a couple of hours and my PC crashed and gave me a memory management BSOD. I'm running Windows 7 32-bit dual partitioned to Windows 7 64-bit. I have 8 GB of RAM and an additional 512 MB on my graphics card which I am not currently using (using generic drivers).
None of this should have anything to do with the problem though since Firefox has been literally running constantly for months without crashing and now suddenly it's crashing every five minutes.
I've completely uninstalled firefox and deleted all of the associated folders, restarted and performed clean install. Unfortunately it's still crashing, and it's really strange to me. Here are my last two crash reports

Any help would be awesome!

Have you tried using another browser to make sure it is Firefox? Also what are your internet settings set to. They may still be set to VPN, see if they are fully reset.

Hey thanks for your reply. unfortunately firefox proxy settings are set to no proxy. This is a completely fresh install as well. I have been using Chrome without any problems. Another interesting thing is there is no icon showing for Firefox, so there is clearly some problem.
Some other details which may or may not be pertinent is that the first two times I tried installing Firefox it said the download was corrupt and quit
I'm starting to think this has something to do with version 35.1. It is crashing on my second partition as well.
Did you try rolling back to 35.0.0?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;
Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.
Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?
While still in Safe Mode
