When firefox is idle for a period of time, and I try to check my email, may times firefox indicates "not responding". Is there some kind of setting, or a timeout that can be changed to avoid this ?
On both a note book, and my pc, if I am away from it for a period of time (30 min or more), try to check email, or do another internet search, I periodically get a "not responding" response from firefox.
After a few minutes the transaction goes. It is almost like firefox goes into a sleep mode, and has to wake up.
