In Thunderbird, when I forward an e-mail, the person who is receiving that forwarded e-mail does not get the portion of the original e-mail that I'm forwarding. They only get the text portion that I am adding to the e-mail. However, when I look at the forwarded e-mail that I forwarded, it looks like it was all sent. It's not a problem on the receiver's end because it just started happening once I switched to using Thunderbird.

Under Tools/Options/Composition/General, do you have 'Forward messages:' set to Inline? If not select that option and the receiver should receive the mail as text/html below your mail body. You might also have the option right-click a message, Forward As and choose Inline or Attachment.
