Thanks cor-el. This seems to almost work. I got the old profile on the new Mac. The profile seems ok (bookmarks, PW, etc), except that none of the extensions are recognized. The profile .default folder has an extensions folder with a lot of other folders. How can I get FF on the new Mac to use these extensions?

more options

It would be better to install extensions anew rather then copying the extensions folder to make sure that they get properly installed and initialized.

However you can try to delete the files extensions.* (extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry. New files will be created when required.

See "Corrupt extension files": http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_install_themes_or_extensions

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions on the next start in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the "Find Updates" button to do a compatibility check.
