I keep getting a notice that says "this VPN download may contain a virus that can infect my pc. Make sure that I want to download it". I don't understand why I'm getting this warning about your product. I just paid to get this extra protection and now I don't know if I should download it.

Please advise.

Thank you.

That isn't from firefox but sounds your security software unless you can provide a screenshot of the message so others can see where it's coming from. Paid extra protection?

Are you referring to Mozilla VPN https://www.mozilla.org/products/vpn/ ?

This is a premium product of Mozilla so please post a new thread in the Mozilla VPN section as this thread cannot be moved to there. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/firefox-private-network-vpn/form

Also what antivirus client or scanner are you using that is claiming the .exe is infected if you downloaded from Mozilla.org. It may very well be a false positive.
