On occasion with mulitple pages open on firefox it then stops opening up to any new page. I can be watching a YouTube video on page 1 while reading on page 2 or more, and then page 2 will no longer bring up new pages. Page one also stops going to any new site requested at that point. Although the curent page will still work. At that point I have to shut down the browser to regain control. What is happening here?

Similar to this. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1381132#answer-1516771 Next time it happens don't kill it, just wait to see how long it takes to respond. It happens to me and I wait for about 10-15 seconds and then it works again.

@ jonzn ...there have been afew times where it eventually responds, but most of the time it will not respond. Or at least I am not willing to wait 5 or more minutes to see if it will respond. I have to close Firefox to get it to work again. To resolve the issue I have switched to a refurbished Win 10 computer. So far there have been no hangups with this computer. So I think that it was likely an attack on my Win 7 older computer.

Not an attack on Win 7. Just that 102.0 has also been giving me issues on Windows 11 and Linux. Since updating to 102.0.1 the browser has been fine for me on Linux. I have Windows 7 & 11, but Linux is my daily driver so I'll have to go see how it's doing in Windows. I also recommend running a different version of Firefox like Dev, Beta, or Nightly to compare.

I just confirmed that 102.0.1 is still freezing for me in Win 11. Linux and mac appear to be okay.
