To enlarge content on screen, the zoom feature usually works best: it proportionally increases text and images and mostly preserves the layout. Look for the zoom controls on the "3-bar" menu:

Click the + button to enlarge. The percentage shown will increase. You also can use the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+ to enlarge and Ctrl- to reduce.

In Print Preview, you typically find that Firefox will Shrink to Fit the content to the paper. If there is too much shrinkage you could experiment with other print scaling settings or with printing in Landscape orientation rather than in Portrait orientation. These are easy to modify using the toolbar above the preview image. However, bear in mind that Firefox will remember this for your next print job, so it's a good idea to preview again.
