I’ve been having some connection issues while using Mozilla VPN with Firefox. Some websites either load very slowly or occasionally fail to open until I disconnect the VPN.

I’m trying to understand whether this is more likely to be related to Firefox, the VPN connection itself, or the server being used.

I’ve also been looking at other VPN options such as CometVPN and was wondering whether changing providers could realistically make a difference in this kind of situation, or whether I should first be checking Firefox/network settings.

Are there any specific DNS, proxy or Firefox settings that are worth checking when troubleshooting this type of VPN connection problem?

Why wouldn't 'BOOKMARKS" be the first (1st!) option instead of stupid never used history? Who let their 3 year old make this change??? I could not find a way to remove history from this useless section...only BOOKMARKS should be easier to find since we all use it the most.

The Bookmarks is the MOST important AND MOST OFTEN USED feature and should be back on top...so annoying and unnecessary!

I login and still no VPN toggle switch

How do I get the Firefox VPN toggle switch to turn it on?

The recent changes to the right-click menu on YouTube are a backward step. The menu is now cluttered with options I don't use, while the useful “Open in New Window” option has disappeared. I regularly use this function and having to use Shift+click instead is unnecessarily inconvenient. Please consider restoring “Open in New Window” to the context menu. Not every new feature is an improvement, and sometimes the simple, familiar options are the ones users actually want.

I prefer to use the Microsoft Store version of Firefox, but after every update I have to allow it all over again in Windows Firewall. There must be something I can do about this so it won't happen again. And yes I know it's because it thinks it's a new application, but Edge does not have the problem. So there must be a workaround for this.

For the last three days or so I have been haivng problems with loggin in to sites. I no longer log in automatically to my many of the sites I use, particularly those set for my home page such as IMDB.com, ebay, web.whatsapp.com etc. Everytime I restart firefox I have to log in again. This started I think wit hthe latest update 155.0.1 (my current version) installed 5th sept 26 or 155.0 installed 3 sept 26

It doesn't seem to be reading the cookies that exist. I have it configure so all cookies are cleared on exit except those in the exception list, which are those for my home page plus about 30 others I log into. There is definitely cookie data there for these sites. I hve tried everythinig but this clearly seems to be a bug. at the moment I am using Opera since the necessity to keep loggin in to every site every time is just too much.

Hello, I have formatted my laptop and downloaded firfox, but I'm not able to restore my old bookmarks and passwords after I signed in to my account and sync. Could you help me with this and thank you.

I am trying to create a separate, standalone Mozilla account using my work email address, but I am stuck in an account routing loop after deleting it as a secondary email from my personal account.

I added my work email as a secondary email to my personal Mozilla account long time ago, 4 days ago deleted the secondary email from my personal account settings to register it as a separate account instead.

Attempted to sign up at accounts.firefox.com, but the system automatically routes the email to the Sign In screen instead of the Sign Up screen. I encountered Error messages entering a password on the Sign-in screen displays: "Primary account email required for sign-in".

Then requesting a password reset displays: "Unknown account".

Troubleshooting Already Tried:

Tried signing up in Private/Incognito windows across multiple browsers (Firefox, Chrome).

Waited over 72 hours for the system cache to clear, but the sign-in page still routes the address as an existing account.

Can you please escalate this to the Mozilla Accounts operations team to clear or purge the stale secondary email mapping for work email in the sign-in lookup index.

I’d like to report a serious issue with Firefox lately. The browser has been performing very poorly and frequently becomes “Not Responding.” In many cases, websites fail to load properly or get stuck indefinitely, even though my internet connection is working normally.

I’m experiencing these issues on the latest version of Windows 11 with the latest version of Firefox. This has become quite frustrating and significantly affects my daily browsing experience.

I hope the Firefox team can investigate these stability and website-loading issues and provide a fix soon. Firefox used to be much more reliable, but recently the overall experience has been very disappointing.

I have started receiving a secure connection failed error message for a portal log-in website that worked fine for the past 6-7 months (see attached document). Other people in my group use Firefox and Bitdefender to access the portal and none of them are having this issue.

I originally believed the problem to be my anti-virus (Bitdefender) and worked with them to resolve the problems. After trying various solutions including clearing my cache, using private mode and turning off different components of their software, Bitdefender believes the problem is with my browser setting and not their software. I also tried accessing the portal using Chrome in both regular and incognito modes and cannot access the site which would seem to rule out the problem being a Firefox browser problem but contacting Firefox support seems to be the next logical step.

I have been to the Firefox FAQ and saw similar problems with potential solutions - DNS over HTTPS, TLSKEYLOGGING issues, add-on exceptions - none of which worked. I have the most recent version of Firefox and am running Windows 11 home version.

Sometimes if I hit refresh after receiving the error message, the browser will try to connect and I will get a server time out message. If I keep hitting "try again", sometimes the portal log-in screen will appear and allow me to log-in. The key word is "sometimes" since often I just keep getting the server time out message.

Any ideas for me to try from this forum?

Firefox deletes logins despite site settings, and cannot pass verification, so I can now no longer succeed to verificarion of login with Google, Facebook, etc. Help, please! Can we have the older version back that kept my site settings? I need to be able to login to google,!
