Transfer bookmarks from a Windows XP workstation to Mac OS X workstation (MacBook pro).

Dear Firefox Team

On my new MacBook I have installed Firefox. Before, I have used Firefox on a workstation running under OS Windows XP. Until now I wasn’t successful to transfer bookmarks.

Note: I have export the bookmarks to a backup file (Windows XP workstation). I did copy backup file to MacBook. But I can’t import bookmarks from this backup file to Firefox on my MacBook.

Kindly, could you please advise how I can transfer bookmark (import) from a workstation Windows XP to the MacBook? Thanks.
