whenever you try to select or scroll I have to wait 30sec to 1min for any response. It has taken me an hour to search for fixes and get to here. I dont know why I persist, I just really want to use the Evernote web clipper add on. But as firefox is so redicously slow I dont know what the point is. I have also now found that after paying over $6 for this app I wld have to upgrade to premium to be able to save any setting changes or add ons. Starting to feel like this is the worst app ever.

hello, the genuine firefox browser by mozilla does not support iOS nor is it available in the appstore. mozilla is prohibited to bring the rendering & javascript engine of firefox onto iOS, since apple is only allowing the use of its own webkit in the terms & conditions for developers. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2416461,00.asp

in addition, all mozilla software is provided open source and free of charge, so whatever you're using must be a third-party product that we won't be able to support unfortunately. please try to bring any complaints to the support channels that are provided by this particular app.

What app is it specifically as it is breaking trademarks in using Firefox name, icons and most importantly charging for it.

The closest Mozilla got to making a browser for iOS was a browser experiment over two years ago called Junior. Due to the Apple restrictions it of course did not use either the Gecko engine or JavaScript engines as say Firefox uses.

It is called Virtual Firefox http://www.virtualfirefox.com/Firefox-Browser-for-ipad

So this app isn't related to Mozilla / Firefox at all?

Hi noosalucy,

Unfortunately, no. We also recommend that you uninstall the application, since it's possible that it may contain malicious code.

You may also report it to Apple, if there is such a place to report these cases.

For future reference, you may find the official products, as well as the official link to the Mozilla and Firefox products in the following link:

I hope this information is helpful.
