I am unable to access www.pbclibrary.com or .org I believe because two weeks ago I asked my son to locate a library book for me by giving him my #/code.
now when I try to access www.pbclibrary.com or .org I get a window denying access and an explanation that the site is not secure suggesting that someone has or is attempting to steal my identity. H ow can I be sure that this issue was caused by my son trying to go to that site on his computer after I gave him my # & c0de so that he is able to search for me and not a thief.

Does this problem affect any other sites, or just this one? I noticed that the site does not use a secure login, but I don't get a warning when I submit the form (using fake credentials).
I suggest contacting the library to get an explanation of what their security process is.
Without knowing more, I could speculate that your son might still be logged into the site, and so the attempt to log in from a second device is considered suspicious, but that may well be incorrect.
More generally, when you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Command+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
Firefox menu > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
- right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
- Tools menu > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?
