I am wondering if there's a way to disable metro for Nightly, I don't like having it open in metro from the start menu and all, I use Desktop a lot more than Metro so, yeah. An answer would be very nice, thanks.

You're asking about Firefox 28 which is currently a Nightly build. These builds are available for testing purposes only and may be buggy.

Hi, I'm one of the developers of the "Firefox for Metro" feature. Just last week we made a change so that Firefox will always launch in desktop mode if that was the mode you used most recently. It will switch to "Metro" mode only if you tell it to (by pressing the "Relaunch in Windows 8 Touch" button in the toolbar or menu). I hope this fixes your issue.
