Firefox 25 changed how the Find bar works. Now, instead of being a global bar that appears at the bottom of every tab you have open, it appears in the active tab. When you change tabs, you won't see it there.

If you use any Find Bar-related extensions, it's possible that there is a conflict with this change. Could you try to update extensions and see whether that helps?

To open the Add-ons page, either:

• Ctrl+Shift+a
• orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then click the "gear" button and use Check for Updates. You may need to restart Firefox using the link provided if there are updates.

Any difference? If not, and you do have some Find Bar-related extensions, try disabling them, and again restart if needed.
