Over the last month or two firefox and thunderbird crash within 1 or 2 minutes of opening. Firfox used to crash on specific websites, now it crashes on all of them. I've tried disabling add-ons. I've uninstalled and reinstall java and flash. I've uninstalled and reinstall firefox entirely. I keep up with my windows updates. I don't know what else to try. I see from the crash report it has something to do with liger.dll. I googled that and didn't find anything helpful. At this point I can't even open the add-ons window to check individual add-ons and extensions. My latest crash report id is: 66d74979-2a97-40d3-8beb-d4b542121202

hello jon82, yes this crash is apparently caused by the external liger.dll-library. based on a google search, it appears to be part of some netsweeper filtering software - are you aware of any such program that might be installed on your computer? if so please remove it from the windows control panel.

otherwise i'd assume it may be a problem related to malware, please do a full scan of your system with the security software already in place and different other tools like the free version of malwarebytes.
