Really just pleading that the 'Default Behaviour' is changed.

see http://www.techspot.com/blog/73/prevent-websites-from-resizing-firefoxs-browser-window/

should be the norm.

If I drag n drop a Firefox window - I do not want it maximized

hello, i don't think that this (firefox window is getting maximized during drag & drop) doesn't depend on the setting you've referred to, but it's caused by the snap feature of windows 7.

Many Thanks madperson

I found many references to this 'snap' """feature""" - and have finally disabled that too - most references online to 'ease-of-access' seem to relate to other versions of 'Windows'

But why does it only seem to happen with Firefox? - I've never noticed other windows apps do this.

The fix I found solved the Firefox issue.

Perhaps there are 3+ separate interactions happening - and now we've found two of them.
