Did you check if you have firefox in the login list ?

Go into System Preferences then click on Accounts then go to the Login Items tab and click the "-" to remove whatever apps you want when you start up mac (FF).

I have this problem with Windows XP. It connects to web-sites without me logging into my ISP account first.

Any ideas on how to stop it?
