How do I get my old toolbar back. Updated toolbar is pure crap
The updated toolbar has no back and foward button and no window where I can type in a web site I want to go to. The old one worked fine. The updated toolbar is worthless.

You may have
- chosen "Full Screen" Mode or
- un-checked the toolbars
The F11 key toggles Full Screen Mode on or off. In Full Screen Mode, you have no toolbars, no tabs and no Add-on Bar (at the bottom).
If you un-checked your toolbars (checked=displayed; un-checked=not displayed), then do one of the following, and click on the ones you want to check/un-check:
- "...no back and foward button and no window where I can type in a web site I want to go to..."
- Back/Forward button and URL/Address/Location bar are on the Navigation Toolbar; be sure Navigation Toolbar is checked following instructions immediately below
- right-click in the empty space at the end of the tabs bar
- tap the ALT key or the F10 key, the Menu Bar will display, click View > Toolbars
- Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > General tabFirefox > Preferences > Advanced > General tab
- hold down the ALT key and tap the keyboard letters V T
- the URL/Address/Location bar, Back/Forward buttons, Refresh/Reload buttons are all located on the Navigation Toolbar
