When maximised, Firefox will not allow other programs/folders/files etc to display ...

When Firefox v7.0.1 is open and maximised; if I then open another program or folder or file etc, it remains hidden/covered by the Firefox window. I'm not sure if you call this 'focus' or what but it doesn't happen all of the time ... but when it does, it's very annoying and inconvenient ! I'm not sure if this 'issue' is in any way connected with Firefox's blocking of the scroll window capture feature in Techsmith's 'Snagit' ... but either way, it's a real pain ! I'm using the default 'theme' with the semi transparnet header bar ... if that's relevant in any way ???

You are in Full screen mode. On your keyboard hit the F11 key. That will exit it, Or move your mouse to the top of the screen and right click the "Exit Full Screen Mode".

Thank you ... but yes, I know that already. THe query really was regarding the bizarre behaviour of the browser and reasons why it was behaving like this ... not on how to work round it.
